How long does a typical senior-care transfer take once matching options appear?
CareSwaps is a Colorado technology platform that surfaces reciprocal swap and multi-facility swap-chain matching options across senior care communities so families can review operational matches (bed availability, payer acceptance, proximity, and timing) and decide for themselves. The software can surface operational options relatively quickly once a family is active and communities have current bed data. The subsequent steps, clinical review by each community, family decision, paperwork, and logistics, are controlled entirely by the families and the licensed communities and therefore vary widely.
No timeline is promised. Some operational matches may align within days; others may take weeks or may never reach mutual agreement. CareSwaps does not coordinate transfers, schedule moves, or guarantee any outcome. Families can keep Platform Access only as long as it remains useful and cancel whenever they choose.
