What is the difference between CareSwaps and calling facilities directly?
CareSwaps is a Colorado technology platform that surfaces reciprocal swap and multi-facility swap-chain matching options across senior care communities so families can review operational matches (bed availability, payer acceptance, proximity, and timing) and decide for themselves. Calling facilities one by one reveals only the beds open at the exact moment of each call. Reciprocal-swap matching looks across the network for complementary openings that can free beds for each other, including multi-facility chains that would be invisible to sequential phone calls.
The platform does not replace direct conversations with communities. It supplies an additional layer of operational visibility. Families still speak with any community they wish, and every clinical and admission decision stays with the licensed staff of those communities. Private-pay and commercial insurance only.
